The warm welcome from Neil and the hearty breakfast powered us for our Offa's Dyke hike. The charming, historical character of the Queens Head Inn made our stay special despite some room dusting needed.

Although the room had a fan, it struggled to cool things down on warmer nights, which might be a concern for others. The noise from events seemed to carry through the walls, impacting the overall peace needed for a good night’s sleep. On top of that, after inquiring about special menu options, the kitchen seemed limited, and that was disappointing.

Had a fun stay with my family and loved exploring the quirky vibe of the place. We enjoyed some relaxing time in the garden after checking out the old pub history. The only downside was the shower being a bit low, but it didn’t ruin our experience at all! 😊
